Traits like teamwork, empathy, and integrity are a sign of values and character in action and part of what we’re looking for in your child. Phillips Academy is pleased to participate in the beta testing pilot year of SSATB’s innovative Character Skills Assessment (CSA). The CSA is a groundbreaking new tool that will help our admission team understand the unique traits that applicants will contribute to the Phillips Academy community.
When you take the SSAT and select to have your test scores sent to Phillips Academy, you will be given the option to participate in the CSA. The CSA is approximately 30 minutes long. Since we are still in the research phase, schools will not receive the results of the CSA for their individual applicants until after the admission season is over, and will not be using the research data to inform any admission decisions in the 2016-17 cycle. Opting out of participation will not affect your application for admission. Learn more about this new assessment tool.
