SENIOR PROM
The Phillips Academy Senior Prom is scheduled for Friday, May 31, from 7 to 11 p.m.
at The State Room in Boston. The evening begins with a “pre-prom” event on the Richard T. Greener Quadrangle from 5 to 6 p.m., featuring refreshments and an opportunity for photos of our seniors with their friends and family. At 6 p.m., when students process across the quad and board buses to the prom venue, families are invited to attend a reception in the Pan Athletic Center. After the festivities in Boston, students will return to campus for a final “midnight munch” catered by the Paresky Commons team.
Please note that the prom is exclusively for Phillips Academy seniors; guests or dates from other grades or outside the school are not permitted.
Prom tickets, $160 per person, will be available for purchase from May 6 through May 17
at the BlueCard Office. This ticket includes transportation, dinner, and entertainment for the evening. Financial aid is available for prom tickets; for inquiries, please contact the Financial Aid Office. In addition to purchasing tickets, students must sign up for prom tables (in groups of 10) and prom buses.
We do require students to take ownership of this process and complete the ticket purchases and sign-ups themselves, but reminders from home are most welcome!
To streamline preparations, we have partnered with Russo Tux & Formal Wear
, who will handle tuxedo/suit fittings and rentals. We are working to line up a local florist. Although not mandatory, using these vendors simplifies the process as they deliver to campus and accept the BlueCard or major credit cards.
All seniors will receive this information during a class meeting on Thursday, April 25.
COMMENCEMENT
We are excited to welcome the families of seniors to campus in June to celebrate Phillips Academy’s 246th Commencement. For a complete schedule of events and FAQs, please visit the Commencement webpage. If you have additional questions, please contact Naomi Mashburn ’08 in the Office of Alumni Engagement via email or call 978-749-4225.
