2024–2025 Academic Calendar |
View the 2024–2025 Academic Calendar here. Please note that additional details regarding student arrivals will be posted at a later date.
End-of-term grades will be posted on The Hive on Wednesday, March 6.
Students received their spring term schedules on Wednesday, February 28. Early course add/drop/change requests will be accepted on February 29 and March 1.
The regular on-campus add/drop/change process will resume Thursday, March 21, through Monday, March 25. The last day to add a new course is March 25.
-
During the early add/drop/change period (February 29 and March 1), students may only submit course add/drop/change requests for courses originally included on their Course Request Form (CRF). These requests do not need to be signed by their advisor or college counselor.
-
Starting Thursday, March 21, requests for courses not originally included on the student’s CRF may be submitted and will require approval from the student’s advisor (and college counselor for uppers and seniors).
- Students with incomplete schedules (less than five classes for juniors, lowers, and uppers, or seniors looking to add a fifth course) should contact Associate Dean of Studies for Scheduling Kenneth Shows immediately.
A note about instructor changes: Students may occasionally find themselves assigned to a different instructor or section in continuing courses for the next term. These changes are necessary for a host of reasons, including faculty leaves and sabbaticals, new instructor workloads, the need to balance section sizes, and the scheduling of other courses. We understand that the prospect of an instructor change can make some students uncomfortable. We encourage you to help your student develop the resilience they need to embrace change as a necessary part of life and filled with wonderful opportunities. Please note that we do not honor schedule requests for particular instructors or periods. Policy related to requesting a change of instructor may be found in The Blue Book posted on The Hive.

Sykes Wellness Center Reminders |
Medication Pickup: Students must pick up their medication by noon on Saturday, March 2. Please note that medication cannot be mailed home.
Safety Reminder to Students with Epinephrine Auto Injectors: Students should take their two epinephrine auto-injectors home with them. If they are traveling by air, these should be placed in accessible carry-on luggage and not in checked baggage. Students should then bring their two epinephrine auto-injectors back to campus following the break.
Physical Exams: To ensure compliance with Massachusetts school health requirements, it is necessary to always maintain a current physical exam record on file, completed within the last 13 months. If your child’s physical has expired, kindly arrange for a new physical exam with their primary care provider during Spring Break. If your child has had an annual physical recently, please upload the physical exam report via the Sykes Wellness Center health portal (log onto The Hive to access the portal). Alternatively, you may fax the report to 978-749-4452.
