Preparing for the 2024–2025 School Year |
It’s never too early to begin preparations for the next academic year. We request that returning students and their parents/guardians complete various tasks before this year’s classes end. Please note registration dates, the deadline for completion of required forms, and other important information.
Registration Dates: Please refer to the Phillips Academy 2024-2025 Public Calendar for specific registration dates and times.
Required Forms for Registration: Be sure to complete required registration forms by Monday, June 3, to ensure your student is cleared for registration next fall. All necessary forms are available on The Hive.
Closed Weekend: Please note that the first weekend of the new school year is a “closed weekend.” That means no day or overnight excuses will be granted from Friday, September 6, through Sunday, September 8. During this time, students will engage in community-building activities to promote social connections and set the tone for the new school year. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Further details about Opening of School will be provided in upcoming issues of the Family Bulletin.

Summer Storage Option for Boarding Students |
Each year, Phillips Academy partners with Collegeboxes to provide a solution for boarders who need to store their items over the summer. Collegeboxes will pick up items, place them in storage, and deliver them to your student’s 2024–2025 dorm room just before the beginning of the school year. Deliveries to college or the student’s home are also possible. There are costs associated with this service. NOTE: Student belongings cannot remain on campus over the summer.
Please refer to this document for details and answers to commonly asked questions. Not sure which service to choose? Click here.

Be a Welcome Ambassador for New PA Parents! |
We are seeking volunteers to help welcome parents and guardians of new students to Andover. This is a fun and rewarding way to make new connections within the PA parent community. The goal is simple: to provide a Big Blue welcome, be a friendly resource, and help grow new parent-to-parent connections. Last spring, our dedicated welcome ambassadors contacted over 250 new PA families. We aspire to provide the same broad outreach to this year’s new families and would love your involvement! To sign up, please complete this form by Friday, April 26.
