Parents/guardians of graduates: It is your graduate’s responsibility to notify people and businesses of their change of address. They should notify college, family, friends, cell phone carrier, insurance providers, credit card companies, and any other persons or businesses that have been sending items to them at Andover. Be sure to change DEFAULT shipping addresses with online merchants like Amazon.
Parents/guardians of returning students: Andover will begin accepting packages for the 2025–2026 school year on Monday, August 18. Do not send items to Andover prior to this date; they will be refused and returned to the sender.
DORM CLEANUP: It is imperative that students leave their dorm rooms as they found them in the fall—clean, organized, and containing only school items. Your student should:
|
- REMOVE all personal items from room, including rugs, furniture, posters, bins, and closet organizers.
- RETURN all standard PA furniture BACK to its original location (sometimes it gets moved).
- Clean and vacuum.
- Remove trash and recycling; place it in designated outdoor bins.
- Remove, donate, or discard all personal items from the bathroom, laundry room, common area, and kitchen, and empty refrigerator.
|
LOST & FOUND OPEN HOUSE: As summer vacation approaches, lost and found items from across campus will be collected, sorted, organized, and displayed. The PA community can stop by the Dean of Students Office (lower level of George Washington Hall) between Tuesday, May 27, and Friday, May 30, to look for lost items. Unclaimed items (except those labeled with a student’s name) will be donated over the summer.
