Our welcome message to families: Yesterday we emailed a Big Blue welcome to all PA families, which included an overview of the many ways you can support Andover, including by making your annual gift, hosting an event, or volunteering. In case you missed it, you can read the welcome message here.
Join the Andover Fund Parent Committee: We are currently seeking parents and guardians to join the Andover Fund Parent Committee (AFPC). In close partnership with the Family Giving team, Parent Committee volunteers engage in peer-to-peer fundraising to raise critical support for the Academy. Through their outreach to fellow families, Parent Committee members help enhance the student experience, advance the Academy’s highest priorities, and strengthen PA parent connections around the globe.

Thank you to everyone who attended our first general meeting of the year either in person or via livestream. A recording of our September 19 PSPA Speaker Series event with Head of School Raynard S. Kington, MD, PhD, P’24, ’27, will be posted to The Hive tomorrow.
This week, our Board of Directors approved the allocation of $100,000 to fund Parents of Students of Phillips Academy (PSPA) programming throughout the school year for students, parents/guardians, and staff. We will host events ranging from ice cream study breaks and Casino Night to parent receptions and non sibi community engagement events. This year, the PSPA will donate $36,000 worth of furniture, game tables, and additional entertainment to enhance Susie’s, a popular gathering place for students on the lower level of Paresky Commons.
The PSPA is funded with profits from our volunteer-run Campus Closet, which features official Phillips Academy gear for your whole family. The shop will be open in George Washington Hall tomorrow, Friday, September 22, from noon to 4 p.m. Remember, you can shop online 24/7!
