News, Events, & Announcements for Andover Parents |
Communication with the academy
You have heard us say it repeatedly: Parent-school communication is essential to each student’s success.
Please notify us if at any time during the year there are significant changes in your family’s life. Having this information will allow us to be more attentive to your child’s needs. If your child is a boarder, please contact the house counselor; if a day student, please contact the day student advisor.
The Directory Coming to PAnet
We are pleased to announce that a self-printable version of The Directory will be available electronically to parents this fall. The 2010–2011 directory will include contact information for all academic departments and administrative offices, as well as for individual faculty, staff, and students. This directory (a downloadable PDF) will not replace the robust, searchable online version (currently available on PAnet). The online version remains the best way to access up to date information.

Andover High School is offering a workshop for high school seniors and their parents focused on planning and financing a college education. A representative from Massachusetts Educational Financing Authority (MEFA) will describe and answer questions about financial aid and how to apply.

The next meeting of PSPA, “The Addison Gallery Unveiled,” will be held at the gallery on Thursday October 28th at 7:00 p.m. Julie Bernson, Curator of Education, will lead parents on a tour of the renovated building and the new museum learning center, and will focus on how the Addison is used in teaching and by the PA community.
