Parents' Weekend: October 23-25
We are looking forward to welcoming parents back to campus for Parents' Weekend. If you are planning to attend but have not yet registered, please register now so we can more accurately estimate meal counts. H1N1 Update
Like most boarding schools and colleges, Phillips Academy has seen its share of probable H1N1 cases on campus, but the cases have been mild and have not disrupted normal campus operation. However, the school does ask that all visitors to campus, including parents coming for Parents' Weekend, abide by the following guidelines:
- If you are currently being treated for the flu or have recently been exposed to someone who has flu-like symptoms (fever AND one or more of the following respiratory symptoms: cough, nasal congestion, or sore throat), please do not come to campus for seven days after resolution of your symptoms or your potential exposure.
- Also, throughout Parents' Weekend, we remind you that the best way to protect yourself against the flu is to observe the following simple rules: Wash or sanitize your hands frequently and avoid unnecessary social contact, including hand-shaking.
